About the Book

A Dirty Sink, A Bug, and Squirrels: God Speaks

Sonbeams stories have been emailed out for over seven years. During this time, many readers have asked us to publish a book of our easy-to-read and understand stories. So we did.

Each simple story in this first book can usually be read in less than 5-6 minutes and is a stand-alone story in itself. To see if our stories might be down your alley, visit Sample Sonbeams .

This book is a collection of forty of our Sonbeams, a short description of how Mary Beth and I met, and "Warren's Story', my testimony of God's faithfulness during and following my accidents.

Many people use our stories as a devotional. Some have scriptures, some don't. At the back of the book you will find several pages of lines for you to write what the Lord is saying to you personally.

The one thing they all have in common though, is that they all point to the Lord and the Lord at work. In fact, we received one email that our stories were being used as the material for a ladies study group in Cape Town, South Africa. We were amazed to find out about this. To God be the glory!

We are simply ordinary people who have been through some very dramatic situations, with God receiving the honor. We are constantly learning to find God in places we wouldn't normally look and listen for Him and hearing Him a little differently than we are used to listening………because God still speaks.
